pyjama, pajama ...

pa·ja·ma : A loose-fitting garment consisting of trousers and a jacket, worn for sleeping or lounging. Often used in the plural.

pyjama : a pair of loose trousers tied by a drawstring around the waist; worn by men and women in some Asian countries

pyjamas, pajamas .. for whatever reason I've always been obssessed with this particular item of clothing. I have them in a variety of colours, shapes and materials, so many that I now have two full drawers to the point of bursting. And ever since these spanish chain-stores like women's secret or Oysho arrived in Portugal, I've lost all control of my buying impulses ... so yesterday I went in to get my cousin a b-day present, and naturally I not only came out with yet another p-j for my collection (because I just loved the adorable prints on it :-) but also this "Mafalda" tote bag (just because I love the cartoon so much)...*sigh* so I guess I started shopping for my own X-Mas presents early this year.
