i've meaning to try this for ages, but somehow I never had the patience to ... but lately, inspired among other things by hillary's amazing round tree quilt, alicia's beautiful bags or the more than popular Denyse Schmidt book that I borrowed from T., I felt a sudden urge to start cutting pieces of fabric and try to make them into something. I thought a bag was probably the best thing to start with, after all I had experience making bags so nothing too terrible could happen (but one of these days I'll try the quilt, I just need to get some courage). So that's how these two were made - one of them is for myself, the other is for sale at the online store, among with other bags and items I'll be posting during the week.
