So I thought I'd tackle some corners of the house this weekend that needed a bit of organizing .. and what a better place to start than my case of trims ?
It was looking a bit messy ...
but after a while it was looking like this
and this
Granted, all the trims wouldn't fit into one case anymore so I had to get a second one (from the kid's section at Zara Home, they have such cute stuff. The purple one came from Maize, and I love it)
Now, if I could only organize the stash of fabrics just as neatly ...

Gosh! The boxes are adorable! If only there was a Zara Home store in my city!
hi!
I decided to do the same but with my beads!
bye, manela
I love all the trims, so bright and colorful. The little cases are adorable, I have to agree with Marias23, wish there was a store that sold cute stuff like that here.
I love the second case, so beautiful! :D
Está lindo! As malinhas são lindas, mas tenho que admitir que a minha colecção está tão grande que só numas caixas do IKEA :p
An EXCELLENT idea for storage of trims. I'm going to put this over at whip up. Thanks!
I have a little suitcase exactly like your purple one, only mine is pink. And has dead bumblebees in it, not trims. But excellent idea!
Very nice and cute!
Just a word of warning - if you have used rubber bands to bind your ribbons together, they may melt and fuse with your ribbons. I suggest using cotton tape. My mother's wedding dress had one rubber band which melted and it was a nightmare to remove.
oh wonderful! saw this over at whipup, i will do that with my little ribbons...i have one of those very suitcases. :)
i use those adorable boxes for everything! they are the best!
I have just the same little suitcase, also from Zara Home :)
And I also used it to storage my crafting stuff.
:)
I have LOTS of ideas about organzing, but hardly do them.
I really like yours. Pretty ribbons!
