global warming

My favorite detail about this piece are the puffed sleeves... They are adorable, don't you agree ?

I used a totally different yarn than the project called for - a bulky kind I had bought in Florence for an Estes vest - but ended up giving up on that project and decided to cast on this instead. Had to do some maths to account for this difference in gauge, and my first attempt started off too large but my second try came out just as I wanted.

Pattern: Global Warming, by Suvi S.
Needles: 6.5 mm
Yarn: Laines du Nord Korall (8 skeins)
Size: Modified xs

your knitting is always so perfect - and this one too! It shows your marvellous taste - also the surrounding and of course for sewed objects...
