verena

not much to show craftwise, except that I've really been working hard on finishing some orders and items to be put for sale here soon (more on that next week) ... but in the meantime I'm almost done with Shriek, and so far it's looking great. Let's see if all the changes I had to make to this pattern (different yarn and needles) will make this vest into something I will actually be abe to wear.

And have I said how much I've been loving Eunny's "Majoring in lace" tutorials ? Her latest one on cast ons is just awesome.

Still on the knitting front, I came upon this magazine the other day at my local newspaper store - it's called "Verena" and comes in Spanish. Here in Portugal we don't usually get very good knitting magazines - in fact, they're usually terrible - so I order my Rowans and others from websites abroad. But this one I had to get after a quick browsing, because in fact I can see myself wearing some of this stuff. It's an old magazine (fall '05 ?) so I have no idea why it was still for sale, but I'm glad I got it. Here are a few photos of what I fancied ...

Esta revista (penso que pertence à Burda) varia muito em qualidade. Este número parece fantástico pelas imagens que vi.Outros são muito convencionais-tristonhos. Agora apareceram à venda uma série delas antigas, não sei porquê....

Hi, I saw the cute kid stuff goodies you sent to the gal who runs belladia.blogspot.com for the international trade group swap on Flickr, and noticed the Lili & Lala stuff. Where did you get them from?
