comfort reading

when I'm not feeling so good, I always turn to my pile of comfort reading. You know, those books that not matter how many times you've read them, they always make you forget everything else. And it always feels good to read them again. These are just a few of mine ... which ones are yours ?

I love Sharon Shinn too! Her books make me so happy. I'll have to check out some of the other books in your pile - can't wait!

I just sent Small Wonder to my mom. A couple of books that I reread once a year...my comfort books:

She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb
Summer Sisters by Judy Blume
A History of Luminous Motion by Bradfield

and, my all time favorite:
Flesh and Blood by Cunningham

good question - some are the same of yours. Some are a lot trashier ( sometimes the great comfort reads are not necessarily the great literature. Enid Blyton´s school books, or the adventure books sigh...). Photo is a good idea, will try!
